Next quest in the chain: Trail of Blood Description You are reading this because you have received the recommendation of Levenbrech Kazmir. He seems to think you have the necessary skills for this task. Of course, Kazmir is an unreliable fool, so I will be making my own assessment.I want you to investigate the possible desertion of a squad of our bravos. They were under the command of a very capable soldier named Nagir. I’m told a report on the squad’s activities has just come in from the field. Go listen to the report, then get back to me. Debriefing So then, we have confirmation: Nagir’s squad has indeed deserted. And in doing so they have sealed their own fate. Eliminating them will be no easy task. They are capable and extremely dangerous.Our forces have lately suffered from hit-and-run attacks which we assumed were carried out by covert Atreides operatives. Curiously the primary objectives of these attacks seemed to be the seizing of arms and provisions. Clearly, Nagir and his men are outfitting themselves for whatever future they have planned now that they have abandoned their duty to the Baron.
