Previous quest in the chain: Equipment Needed Next quest in the chain: Finding Focus Description There are amplifiers that can make a cutteray beam a good deal stronger, but they’re pretty rare. There is a place nearby where that sort of equipment might well be found: amid the shipwrecks in the Sheol. The radiation leaking from those wrecks has kept most scavengers away, but if you have the right protective gear, you should be able to recover an amplifier. Debriefing This amplifier will go a long way toward boosting the performance of our cutteray. But that alone won’t be enough for the work I’m planning.I’ve read up on the specs, and the amplifier will juice up a cutteray even more than I imagined! The only problem is it will also cause the beam to flare out too wide to be really effective. To focus the beam, I’m going to need a modulator equal to the strength of the amplifier. I’ll bet you know where one of those could be found, right? Hope you still have your radiation gear. Objectives
